Frequently asked questions
Can I have a K9 security dog for a construction site in Athens or elsewhere in Greece?
Yes. We provide guarding with a trained K9 dog and specialised security personnel for construction sites, industrial premises and facilities with heightened protection requirements, in Athens, Attica and selected areas of regional Greece. A K9 presence is particularly useful on large perimeters, at night and on sites where equipment or materials stay on site out of hours.
The service can be provided on a permanent or temporary basis, depending on the duration and needs of the project. We assess the site and put together the right security plan for the facility's requirements.
Do K9 units in Athens work with existing security guards or replace them?
They work alongside your existing security personnel and complement the overall protection of the facility. The K9 presence strengthens surveillance where and when heightened protection is needed.
The service is planned in conjunction with the guards, cameras, alarm systems and security zones the facility already has, so that every element works together as part of an integrated security plan.
Is a K9 unit discreet enough for a residence in the Athens suburbs?
Yes. The service can be designed to keep a discreet presence on the property. The handler moves and works in the grounds around the residence, while the trained K9 dog mainly watches the perimeter and the fence line; neither needs to come inside the house.
The unit's presence is adapted to the characteristics of the property and the needs of the family, with an emphasis on discretion and professionalism. All information relating to the engagement and the service is treated in absolute confidence and never made public.
Which dog breeds do you use for security in Athens?
We use trained German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, selected according to the requirements of each facility. Every dog has its own dedicated handler and takes part in continuous training and evaluation.
The team is chosen on the basis of the site's characteristics and particular features, such as its size, perimeter, terrain and guarding requirements. Before the service begins, we confirm that the team is right for that specific facility.
